Weybridge Case Study – Acacia Thin and Reduction

We were contacted by Weybridge Diagnostics Centre; who we have been working with for over a year now.

They had a number of overgrown trees in their car park area that needed attention. These were all dealt with swiftly and cleanly.

During our initial visit though we noticed that the Acacia Tree at the front of their property had severe decay down the main trunk.

With this in mind and the fact that the tree was in a public place, it was suggested that the tree crown be reduced in size and thinned quite heavily. This effectively reduced the size of the tree and its potential wind sail area; thus reducing the stress on the tree in high winds and rain.

The works were completed at the quietest time of day to reduce disruption, given the fact that the tree was over the High Street in Weybridge.
